These are a great pair of gloves at a great value, the leather is soft and supple but well machines. There are no bad seams inside keeping the gloves feeling good around your hands. The Hipora/Thinsulate lining means you keep your hands dry from external elements as well as not having sweaty hands.
The protection consists of TPU plastic knuckle and phalange guards with an extra plastic plate over the outside of your wrist. Gearx produce some good gear so don't think twice about using them, you won't be disappointed.

Good morning,

in advance; I will update the review as soon as the temperatures get/stay in the low single digits. At the moment it's a relaxed average of 13-15 degrees. Of course, it is not entirely possible to say whether the previous experiences will hold up.

I needed new winter gloves. My heroes somehow lost their hero status after years and I'm currently driving a "naked" Suzi (all year round). In November or December your little fingers can get cold. Even though I have my concerns about blind orders online, I took a look at the GearX shop here. Aha. They look good and seem to be good for something, I thought.

Ergo, ordered on Saturday a week ago. Well, I come from a generation in which package arrivals were still a perceived event for the whole family, so I don't really care about a few days more delivery time, even during prime times. The gloves ultimately come from England (keyword Brexit) and they were with me after exactly a week. Chapeau. Even with shipping fees (customs are on it) the price is totally okay, because if you, like me, in HH go to Aunt L., the shop with the P at the beginning, or the other big one with the three letters as a name in front of each other approx. 12 meters of glove wall, but still couldn't find anything for the fall/winter from all the major manufacturers, who knows how much some pairs of motorcycle finger cots cost.

The gloves come unspectacularly packaged; suffices. Unpacked and the first impression is very valuable. Not bad, for the price they really not only put a lot of thought into it, but also implemented it. I also know it differently (in my own motorcycle wardrobe) for a much higher price. Of course, there are a few visual compromises, for example with the plastic protectors on the ankle joints, but protection is provided. Because honestly; I ride a motorcycle for the fun of riding and not because I want to be a fashion show doll. Double Velcro for individual adjustment; The cuff is sufficiently large so that jacket sleeves can be hidden. Tried it out with a Büse touring jacket and a Dainese leather suit jacket. Fits. And by the way, the things fit like a glove, because the dimensions (which differ slightly from other manufacturers) are absolutely correct. Measured by hand (important!), ordered M and...it fits! I've also had other experiences on the market.

Freedom of movement for shifting/braking/accelerating is great despite the cozy, slightly thicker inlay with climate membrane. This is exactly what I imagined. So we got on the bike and went for a ride around the house. The gloves are much too warm, at least in the current "golden autumn temperatures" (but I really wanted to test them on the motorcycle). But I think you can go down a bit to just a few degrees, the gloves would handle it.

Conclusion: Absolute purchase recommendation for the colder season and anyone who can wait a few days for delivery is very well served with the gloves. So, now I'm looking for summer gloves from the same manufacturer...

Have a good trip everyone.
