Initially, I was somewhat irritated that the scarf had to be imported from Great Britain via a smaller delivery service – I wouldn’t have ordered it if I had known that beforehand.
Furthermore, the scarf meets my expectations: soft and cuddly, well-made, traditional pattern. It is a tiny bit itchy now and then, but really not badly. The softness definitely outweighs any minor scratchiness.
Providing a winter product for testing after winter does limit the testing possibilities: Currently, temperatures are just below double digits, in which the scarf definitely provides warmth and protects the neck from the wind. I assume it will still work in colder temperatures. Oh yes, as a wool scarf, it’s not really suitable for the washing machine. The care label even recommends dry cleaning, but it should withstand hand washing just fine.
